SENCO Referral Support Package
Comprehensive Psychological & Psychiatric Support for Your Pupils
Your Partner in Evidence-Based Mental Health & Educational Care
pause... provides rapid, high-quality therapeutic and psychiatric services for children, young people, and adults. We work directly with SENCOs, schools, and colleges to deliver CBT, DBT, psychiatric assessments, ADHD/ASD assessments, and trauma-informed psychological interventions that help pupils thrive academically and emotionally.
Our multidisciplinary team (MDT) comprises therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, specialist nurses, pharmacists, doctors, and pain consultants, all trained to postgraduate level and BACP registered. Every assessment is carried out by the appropriate specialist and discussed within the MDT to ensure accuracy, consistency, and pupil safety.

pause… isn’t just a name — it’s a way through care. A breath in the rush of classroom pressures, a steady space where children and young people can be understood, supported, and given room to thrive.
For SENCOs, pause… is a trusted therapeutic partner. Referrals arrive into safe hands, pupils are welcomed without labels or judgement, and every intervention is grounded in evidence and compassion.
This is a clinical space — responsive, reliable, and attuned to the realities of school life. Each assessment, each report, each outcome reflects our belief that wellbeing begins when care slows down enough to notice the whole child.
We bring clarity without jargon, collaboration without friction, and support that honours both the science and the story. Just space to pause… so your pupils can find their way forward.
